Sign Language Training Program

Project Overview

The Sign Language Training Program is designed to provide teachers with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in Malawian Sign Language. By participating in this program, educators gain the ability to communicate effectively with Deaf students, ensuring that every learner can fully participate in classroom activities. The training emphasizes not only language proficiency but also the development of strategies for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. As a result, teachers are better prepared to engage meaningfully with Deaf students, address their unique learning needs, and foster a sense of belonging, ultimately promoting greater understanding, collaboration, and academic success for all students.
